Kulturverein Mattersburger Kiwis donates to cancer research!

(Vienna, 12-10-2020) The Mattersburger Kiwis cultural association was able to hand over a donation of € 7,500 to the Institute for Cancer Research, despite the cancellation of the planned “Remembering” benefit evening. Thanks go to the sponsors for their generous support.

 

The donation check was handed over to the Institute for Cancer Research by Roman Koller, Stefan Pichler and Stefanie Pöttschacher. After the check was handed over, Maria Sibilia, the head of the Institute for Cancer Research, took the time to present the current research areas and gave a brief tour of the institute's premises. Exciting insights into the main research areas and the technical equipment used could be gained.

The Kiwis have by no means written off the "Remembering" benefit evening with acoustic concerts, but are confident that the planned event can take place at a later date and that the donation amount will be increased again.
