Analysis of Aurora kinases function in the cell cycle of normal and transformed cells

Aim of this project is to elucidate how and under which circumstances Aurora kinases can work as oncogenes. Thereby we want to investigate which functions they play in different phases of the cell cycle and how they execute their oncogenic potential.
