Research Focus
The main focus of our research is analyses of two essential hallmarks of tumors, immortality and growth factor signaling.
In detail, we study the telomere maintenance mechanisms (TMMs) and the fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR) signaling pathway.
We aim to characterize the mechanism behind in various tumors and respective tumor cell models of human and canine origin. We aim to translate this knowledge into novel therapeutic strategies or combinations with established ones.
