Prof. Mazzone is Professor of Immunology at KU Leuven and Group Leader at the VIB Center for Cancer Biology. His research focuses on how tumor metabolism, hypoxia, and immune cells shape the tumor microenvironment and influence cancer progression and response to therapy. His work has led to major advances in cancer immunology and the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
