About the speaker:
Dr. Gigić is Head of the Research Laboratory within the Department of General, Visceral, and Transplantation Surgery and a long-standing Principal Investigator of the ColoCare Study, a large international prospective cohort focused on colorectal cancer. Her research integrates epidemiology and molecular profiling to identify novel biomarkers, and investigates the impact of lifestyle factors and nutrition as well as health-related quality of life on colorectal cancer prognosis.
