50 years "Institute of Cancer Research"
For 50 years, the Institute of Cancer Research, as an institution of the Medical University of Vienna and the Medical Faculty of the University of Vienna, has contributed to the improvement of prevention, diagnosis, prognosis and cure of cancer.
We celebrated this on October 20, 2016 with our donors and cast a glance into the future in a discussion. On October 21, 2016, in a scientific symposium with keynote lectures by renowned cancer researchers, we discussed topics that scientists in our institute are particularly intensively involved in.
